Meet The Creepy Creatures

Come along and meet some of our really Creepy Creatures. It's your chance to experience some of the more exotic species of the Animal Kingdom close up and personal. You will have a unique one on one opportunity to handle, feed and find out more about many types of creepy creatures both great and small in a relaxing informal atmosphere.

All Creatures Great and Small

Have you ever held a chameleon or a gecko? Do you think snakes are slimy? Have you ever fed a dragon? When you meet some of these creepy creatures, you get the chance to experience, handle, feed, touch or get close to a whole range of exotic species. We can show you the correct way to handle and hold a tarantula. We can let you find out just exactly what a snake really feels like to hold. You can find out how a gecko can literally drop its tail behind. Ever wondered just how many legs a giant millipede really has? Its an opportunity to meet a some of our smaller and most fascinating creatures right up to some of the larger lizards and snakes you are ever likely to meet face to face!

A New Experience

We have to admit that although some of our creatures may look creepy, our aim is to ensure that you enjoy your experience with the confidence of knowing how to correctly handle and hold some of these animals. The majority of people have never had the opportunity to get close, let alone handle exotic creatures. We can cater for all those where this will be a completely new experience. If you have already handled snakes or some of the other reptiles, perhaps we can bring along something you have never experienced before. If you have never handled bugs, spiders, lizards or snakes, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try. We are at hand at all times to support you and encourage you. All our animals are used to handling and will provide you with a new experience you just won't get at a zoo or wildlife park.

One to One

The experience is a one to one session of 2 hours in a relaxing informal location set within a Come and Take a Snake For a Slither With Animal Days Out Encounters nature reserve. We will be at hand to provide you with expert handling advice and will be happy to chat at length about the animals in general. You can take as much or as little time with each animal as you wish. You may bring along one spectator who can share your experience with you. You will experience a minimum of 10 different types of creepy creatures which can be pre-selected prior to your experience. *

Refreshments will be available at the end and you are free to capture your experience on camera or video.
