Jack Petchey AwardDan Birmingham with his Jack Petchey Award

Featured News Well done to Daniel Birmingham who was voted by his own peers as the Jack Petchey Silver Achievement Award winner for his duty of care and outstanding progress in mentoring our younger children at our After School Clubs and Holiday Clubs. Daniel is a great all rounder with both our animals and outdoor adventure and has really stepped up over the last year in becoming a fantastic support to both our leaders and the younger children in our clubs.

Daniel has decided to spend his prize on some new gardening tools for our clubs to encourage the younger children to enjoy the horticultural element of their programmes and to replace some rather tired and worn out tools currently used.

GHP (Global Healthcare Pharma) are a large multinational magazine, so for ADO to pick up this award is a fantastic achievement and highlights the quality of service and level of innovation in our alternative healthcare services. A massive well done to all the team at ADO Therapy for this award and to the other teams in ADO for their support.

Young Leaders of the FutureLeadership and Mentor Badge

Featured NewsADO have always been at the forefront of providing opportunities for young people to further their education and careers at an early stage of their development.

We hope that our system of Preschool, After School Clubs, Holiday Clubs, Volunteering and providing Work Experience become a production line of talent, offering them a career path for when they finally leave school and have to face the big bad world of employment.

Our Ranger Mentors and Ranger Young Leaders have had several training sessions, the most recent a Leadership and Safeguarding certification, which qualified them for their Mentor and Young Leader Badge.

The Smart Way To Name TagThanks mynametags.com

Featured NewsHow many times has your child got home from an activity missing some of their clothing or belongings? We have lost count at ADO over the years how many drinks bottles, coats, hats and even welly boots end up in the lost property box at the end of the Summer Holiday Club for example. Children are great at forgetting their belongings at home time. Our office staff spend hours trying to track down the owners of lost items almost weekly! Its amazing how many items never get reclaimed. It must cost parents a fortune to replace the lost items.

Royal Park Holiday Club VenueADO at Royal Park

Featured News We have built up a large following of parents and guardians over the last three years who have booked their children onto our Half-term and Holiday Clubs based at The Environment Centre, Eltham. For the first time, as from this Summer Holiday Club 2016, we are now based at Royal Park Primary School, Riverside Road, Sidcup.

Yes, The Environment Centre was a good venue over the years, but we are confident we have found a real gem in Royal Park. The Royal Park footprint is an enormous 12 acres of which at least 6 acres are mature woodland, wildflower meadow and playing fields. We also have the 100% backing of the management team at Royal Park to design and shape the woodland and wildflower meadows to our own design, creating our own areas for bushcraft and forest adventure activities. Oh, and yes, we will have plenty of our animals onsite during the holiday club periods. We have built our own animal enclosures to accomodate our animals during the course of the summer.

A Royal Appointment for Summer ClubRoyal Park Primary School - Summer Holiday Club

The school resides in 12 acres of land with a large woodland area, wildflower meadows, ponds, trails and modern classrooms to base ourselves. We will also be working to add our own features leading up to the summer holidays including some animal enclosures and woodland activities and features. Our team inspected the site yesterday and gave it their seal of approval. It is a site with huge potential and we are pleased to be working with the new head and management team at Royal Park to make this happen.
