Standard Package Pricing and Features

This is our most popular and cost effective animal encounter. Its great value for a full one hour of interactive fun whilst learning.

The Standard Package includes all our creatures and animals and one premium (large) animal to end the session. These can include reptiles, invertebrates, amphibians and mammals. We guarantee at least 10 different species of animals for your event and will either give you a choice of what to bring or advise you the best animals to bring depending on the age group and the type of encounter you wish to create for your guests.

Region

We cover London and the South-East, Kent, Sussex, Parts of Hampshire, West of London, and parts of Essex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. If you live outside of these areas, please contact us to find out whether we can cover your location.

Animals

We bring at least 10 animals along to each encounter and this package allows you to select one premium animal (large animal) within your selection. Animal availability is dependent on the type of encounter, the distance travelled and the actual availability on the day. You can choose a selection of animals you would like at your encounter at the time of completing your booking form. We can advise you on the best combination for the age group attending.

Attendees

The standard package has a maximum of no more than 20 attendees (guests) to ensure enough time for handling the animals. Our encounter format and agenda differ depending on the amount of attendees. For more than 20 attendees you will need to upgrade to the Premium Package which is a longer party duration with 2 animal sessions split with a break for food and more time for a higher number of guests to be involved in animal handling. There will be a minimum of two members of staff available on the day ensuring that all guests get some great interaction with the animals.§ With a maximum of 20 attendees for the standard package, this allows us enough time to ensure each guest gets interactive with our animals!

Pricing

All pricing includes travel to and from your venue within a radius of 30 miles from your nearest animal base, unless where stated below. For locations and venues over 30 miles of your nearest animal base a surcharge of 50p per mile will be added to the final price (This covers the two way journey we have to make and the travel time taken). 

Our animal centre is based in Welling - Kent DA16. There are no hidden costs for our encounters and the prices are below:

*  Includes Royal Mail First Class Postage and Packing. Subtract £2.50 if collected personally.

** 50p per mile charge only applies to additional mileage over initial 30 mile radius. Therefore if your venue was 54 miles from DA16, you would be charged an additional 24 miles at 50p per mile. (54 miles - 30 miles = 24 miles x 50p)

*** If your venue was over a 1 hr 30 minute journey from the animal base, you would charged an additional 45p per minute travel time. Therefore if travel time was calculated at 2 hours, then you would be charged an additional £13.50 (2 hours - 1hr 30mins = 30 mins x 45p)

§ If there are 10 guests or less, we may only employ 1 member of staff for the encounter. 

VAT does not apply.

Standard Prices are inclusive of travel inclusive of a 30 mile radius of our animal base at DA16.
