My 8 and 5 year old, have been going to "bug club" for nearly a year now and have been thoroughly engaged and educated since day one. Victoria and Laura who run the club have a great enthusiasm and knowledge of their subject and pass this on to the kids. Every week they come back home full of excitement and new knowledge of some strange creature that they have been able to see, hold, touch and learn about. They have watched caterpillars develop over weeks, held snakes and tarantulas, taken part in RSPB surveys and enjoyed days out in holiday times at Scadbury Nature Reserve and Bexley Woods. On both these occasions it has been fantastic to see the children running free enjoying nature. Our five year old son has so much fun in these situations and learns so much too. Our daughter constantly wants to get more books from the library to increase the knowledge that she gets a taste for every week and she now wants to have an Animal Party, which Victoria will be organising for us in September, where they bring a selections of animals that Catherine can choose to wow and revolt her friends. It's such a hands on learning experience that they can't fail to enjoy the learning experience.

Animal Days Out ran a session for Bexley NAS (National Autistic Society) at our Family Holiday Club on 20 December 2011. They took great pains to ensure she would meet the needs of our group - they brought a range of animals with them and all the children present (and quite a few parents) had ample opportunity to touch/hold the animals and ask questions. Our group has a wide range of both age and ability - all were encouraged to interact with the animals at their own pace. We had fantastic feedback for this activity from children and adults alike and look forward to welcoming them back to our group in 2012.

Many thanks for the two sessions you did for our Scout Group last Thursday. The children enjoyed it enormously and so did the Leaders. We were very impressed with the way you tailored each session to the age groups involved, both with the animals and the way the information was delivered, making it entertaining and informative at the same time. It was obvious that the animals were well looked after, as well as being used to being handled, which is a credit to you and the care you give them. We have already recommended your organisation to the local Brownies and handed out your leaflets at the Church's Christmas Tree Festival and Craft Fair on Saturday, so we are already spreading the word about Animal Days Out as we were so impressed with the sessions you did for us.

Dear Animal Days Out, The staff and children of Year 1 would like to thank you for your wonderful "Animal Encounters" visit.
Staff and children alike were enthralled by the variety of animals on show. Your expertise on the animal's lifestyle and habitat was pitched at just the right level and the children learnt so much. The fact that each animal had a name and personality made the whole experience more fascinating.
The children all remembered lots of facts and parents commented on how much their children had enjoyed the whole experience. They still remember having the opportunity to hold and touch the animals.
The presentation was progfessional yet still delivered a very personal experience.
Once again, thank you for an educational fun filled visit.

Just a note to let you know how much we all enjoyed your recent visit to 1st Baldwyns Park Cubs Pack, to say it was enjoyed very much by both the leaders and the Cubs alike would be an understatement. In fact I think it would be fair to say it was probably the best, most entertaining and most informative visit we have ever had come to visit our Cubs. For both the leaders and Cubs to get the opportunity to both see up close and handle many exotic creatures was just amazing, and what a selection, you seemed to bring along everything from a hissing cockroach (not half as scary as I thought they would be) to an enormous carpet python, who I must say was both friendly and beautiful. Following your visit I can confirm both the Beavers and the Scouts will be looking to book a visit from your good selves in the near future. Thanks again for an amazingly entertaining night.

Animal Days Out visited my son’s Cub Scout group with an array of interesting creepy crawlies and animals. My son was delighted to meet these exotic creatures so close up, even being able to touch and hold some of them. Animal Days Out were great with the kids, reaching them on their level with interesting facts about all their animals. The Animal Days Out team were incredible friendly and approachable. My son learnt a lot from this session and so did my husband when he got home!

I wanted to email you and say thank you to you guys for coming out to see us and bringing all of your fantastic animals!! The children really enjoyed themselves, being able to touch and stroke the animals.
’Animal Days Out’ was fantastic! They brought in lots of different animals and insects for the children to touch and stroke. Even some of the staff were brave and had a go! Animal Days out were brilliant with the children, so patient. They let the children ask questions, such as “Where is the guinea pigs tail?”. They spoke to the children in an appropriate manner and even played ‘Hide & Seek’ with Bluey the rat. It was so much fun and would recommend Animal Days Out to anyone!”
Once again, thank you so much for your time on Wednesday. We had lots of fun!!

Thank you so much for the most amazing evening. My beavers loved every minute of it. What a refreshing change from other animal encounters : so interactive felt the children were able to relax and enjoy the animals. Will definitely be recommending you to others in the area. Can't wait for you to come back and visit again soon.

A huge thank you for this fabulous event to you and all the others who have helped to prepare it and on the day. It was brilliantly organised and we (not just our daughter Elleanore) thoroughly enjoyed it, literally each of the activities. In fact she enjoyed it so much that we are thinking of going back there and looking at the creatures in the river and playing some games in the woods.

We met Animal Days Out at a community event and I have to say what an excellent experience it was. The team were wonderful with the children teaching them lots about the different animals. They were also extremely patient with the children, some of whom were frightened of the animals. In the end even they were all holding the different animals confidently. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you so much for a very enjoyable afternoon
