 Educational Encounters
These interactive sessions are specifically designed to encourage children to investigate, absorb and learn information about the animals being presented.
The sessions are mainly focussed on invertebrates and reptiles, but will include some of the children's favourite fluffy mammals. Each session is aligned to the Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 syllabus. These encounters are suitable for nursery, schools and after school clubs, providing a fantastic learning experience whilst having fun.
We can design your educational encounter specifically around the age group of the children taking part. With emphasis on fun and learning, we can now cater from pre-school nursery, through reception, infants and juniors, right up to senior school levels year 6 to year 11. We can tailor your encounter with a focus on a specific initiative or projectand provide literature and information hand-outs for the pupils.
Our Educational Encounters are closely aligned to our own Animal Days Out Activity Club sessions, providing children with an opportunity to get close to wildlife, where perhaps they have never had that opportunity before.
You will receive a discount on our normal standard package price for any educational session, nursery session or sessions focussed for under-priveliged or disadvantaged children and adults. We further offer discounts for multiple locations within a group of schools or companies.
