Calling All Young Explorers and Rangers!
The Animal Days Out Activity Club is a great way for your children to get close to nature and learn about animals, wildlife and nature through fun activities and games.
Our club memberships are tailored to cover a number of age groups so that you can be certain that the activities are structured to the level of your child. Our activity clubs aim to improve social confidence, self-esteem and independence and through our programmes, we aim to inspire a love and respect for animals, wildlife, the outdoor environment and our natural world.
Coverage
We will initially be launching and operating the Activity Club in the London Borough of Bexley, with coverage of Bexley and Sidcup. Our aim will be to roll out the Activity Club into other local areas and longer term across the UK. Our club members will also be affiliated with the RSPB. This provides our members with free entry with us into RSPB nature reserves and discounted entry for any group RSPB activities that we attend.

Activity Club Groups
Young Explorers
Our Young Explorer group section is for children aged between 4 and 8 years.
Any 4 year olds must be of reception school age and be confident enough to join in sessions without their parents. Their sessions are a mixture of fun and education with themed animal, wildlife and nature activities. Combining outdoor learning with fun, physical games and crafts, the weekly activity programme will follow the four seasons and is affiliated with the RSPB wildlife club. So if your child loves animals, wildlife, nature and exploring the outside world, then please call us to register your interest and arrange a free trial session!
Each session lasts for 1 hour 
Rangers
Our Rangers group section is for children aged between 9 and 12 years. These sessions will follow seasonal activities and include an awards programme building confidence, interaction with peers and social skills. There are opportunities to learn about animal and wildlife whilst having fun including ranger skills, wildlife photography, art, blogging, conservation and basic zoology!

Activity Club Outdoor Play and Learning
Our Activity Clubs are for children and young people aged 4 to 12 years old. Our aim is to provide an alternative club with animal, wildlife and nature themes involving outdoor play and opportunities to get close to nature and wildlife.
Outdoor play and learning offers fantastic opportunities and rewards for children and young people. It provides numerous benefits through fun, enjoyment, motivation and personal development. There is no substitute for using our natural senses by smelling, touching and listening to the natural world and wildlife around us.
There is recent research supporting and identifying links between standards of physical health and understanding how to connect and experience the natural environment. There is growing international evidence that natural environments are beneficial for psychological and emotional health. Young people who have lots of opportunities for physical play are more likely to stay active and fit in the future.
